One of the most entertaining annual philanthropic events in Fort Collins is back! On Friday, February 12th, Dancing with the Stars, a fundraiser for Canyon Concert Ballet, sashays into the Lincoln Center Canyon West Ballroom at 8:00 p.m. Whether or not you know your tango from your disco, the evening provides a fun way to support the ballet. Each ‘star’ – a local community member with a heart of gold – is paired with a local dance professional, and the couples perform a dazzling routine, competing to win votes purchased by the audience members. Votes cost $1 each with all proceeds benefiting the ballet. The choreography is creative (and sometimes spicy!) and the dancers work hard to impress the crowd. Fancy footwork, clever costumes, and moves with moxie make this a night not to miss.
