One of the things I love most about Fort Collins is that we know how to do live music right! This weekend is just another example of how easy it is to be surrounded by sound in this town. Explore the flourishing Northern Colorado music scene via the second annual Fort Collins Music Experiment (FoCoMX). More than 150 bands will play at various venues throughout Fort Collins on 4/9 and 4/10, and the whole thing costs just $15 for a two-day pass. Find your new favorite band and support the singing/songwriting/so-good-you-almost-cry local legends you love, all in one weekend that's well worth the wandering about town. If you're the meticulous type that prints, maps and highlights your schedule from start to finish, you can visit http://www.focomx.org/ to prepare. You can purchase tickets online and day-of, but to avoid service fees and the potential for long lines at the venues, go to Rock 'N' Robin's (804 S. College Ave.) to pick up your tix before the weekend hits. Rock on.
