Fort Collins is a pretty great city to live in, just look at all of the awards and
honors we receive. This week Fort Collins was rated number four on
the Forbes annual list of "Best Places for Business
and Careers". It seems like Fort Collins is constantly being
recognized for it's awesomeness even down to many of the local
businesses winning awards. Just recently, Choice City Butcher &
Deli made the list for The
Best Beer Restaurants in 2010. This meaning, one of the best beer
restaurants in the world.
How about that!?
Choice City Butcher & Deli is a very small shop in Old Town on the same Olive and College corner as The Chocolate Cafe, Mugs and The Armstrong Hotel. Russ Robinson established Choice City in February of 2004, creating a one-of-a-kind butcher shop here in town with an incredible deli and the best selection of beers you could imagine (over 100, and some are secret). They were one of the first restaurants in Fort Collins to pave the way on beer pairing dinners and Russ will being doing just that at The Great American Beer Festival this year on September 25th, cooking a Jewish-themed Bar Mitzvah pairing with Shmaltz Brewing Company.
Using some of the best, locally grown meat, dairy and other ingredients, whatever you eat here, from breakfast, lunch, dinner, the Sunday BBQ's, or a choice cut of meat to cook for yourself, it's sure to win you over...
