Ahhh… The beginning of summer is always a magical time. This is already starting out to be pretty corny, isn’t it? Well, let’s go with it and see what happens… The beginning of summer really is a magical time of year. The sun isn’t just a yellow spot, but actually warms the sky, the ground is still a little cool, and there are sounds of kids playing in the parks and swimming pools. I particularly like this time of year because I can come out of the house and be outdoors comfortably. As you get to know me, you will quickly learn that I am very much a warm-weather person. I will tolerate the cold, but the summers are my favorite time of year. This summer I have a goal. I plan to explore all of the little corners and curbs that Fort Collins has to offer. There are so many outdoor recreation facilities, parks, open spaces, bike paths, and dirt roads that I’m sure it will take much longer than one summer, but as far-reaching as my attempt may be, it is genuine. So, be that as it may, let’s get outdoors and explore!
