It's Oktoberfest on Saturday, September 26th, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. in Civic Center Park (at Howes St. and Laporte Ave.) Beers, Bavarian entertainment, bratwurst, polka, dumplings, and oodles of strudel make this a fun day for the family, regardless of the birthplace of your ancestors or the absence of lederhosen in your laundry. Yodeling, apple pie eating, and keg rolling contests round out the day’s competitive events, with plenty of live music and authentic Schuhplattler dancing in between.
