"Where do you want to go out to eat?" he asked me. This is usually the exchange we go through, and have gone through for years when deciding on what restaurant to go to. The banter going back and forth, "I don't know, where do YOU want to go out to eat?" Now doing restaurant reviews, the only request that has changed is that we go out someplace that hasn't been reviewed yet. Which still leaves a lot of options. Which still leads us to this exchange in conversation.

"We should try this slot machine app. It's pretty cool," he tells me. My husband has the Urbanspoon slot machine app on his Blackberry. He clicks "spin" and just like the slot machines we lived around 24/7 in Vegas, the wheel spins and lands on three fields: Fort Collins, Pub Food, $$. The restaurant suggestion is Coopersmith's. The decision is made.

Coopersmith's has been a part of the Fort Collins community for 20 years, with two buildings split in one location. In the heart of Old Town right off of Mountain Avenue, there is a pub side offering an array of hearty English-style pub options, classic American foods and a good selection of vegetarian items to go along with their award-winning beer. The pool side feeds guest playing darts and pool with wood-fired oven pizza, sandwiches and calzones. Typical, yet delicious bar food. Two different atmospheres, two different menus, one great restaurant....
